Welcome University of Wollongong Students

CISaustralia is proud to support the University of Wollongong and their students. CISaustralia and the University of Wollongong signed a formal partnership agreement in 2014 and ever since have worked closely to send qualified UOW students abroad, on many different programs and to many different locations. This partnership enables students greater access to our overseas programs and ensures they have the best possible experience abroad! We are very proud of our close and long-standing partnership with UOW. We take great pleasure in providing high-quality customer service and in supporting both students and academic staff to develop long-term sustainable programs abroad, which are most importantly for academic credit.

Intern in New Zealand

I got to live in a French speaking country which was an experience I have never had before. I also meet new people and made new friends who were like-minded and very supportive during my stay in New Caledonia. The teachers were very patient, dedicated to teaching and friendly to all of us.

January in Noumea, New Caledonia

Seeing change right in front of your eyes is incredible and empowering for yourself and the community you’re in. Best 3 weeks of my life.

Community Healthcare and Development in Zambia

Just go for it! Opportunities like this don’t come everyday or to everyone, and it was one of the best experiences of my life! I learnt so much about myself and other people whilst travelling throughout Italy and not many people can say they’ve studied or lived abroad!

July in Florence, Italy

I am so lucky to have done my study abroad program in Costa Rica. The locals are lovely, the country is beautiful and I learnt a lot about myself. I also got to speak lots of Spanish and met some amazing people! Keep an open mind, travel as much as you can and don’t be afraid to practice your Spanish!

July in San Jose, Costa Rica

The University of Wollongong has been working with CISaustralia since late 2013, assisting the Faculty of Business in coordinating the Economics and Finance Study Tour… CISaustralia [are] thorough in their planning and organisation, and able to foresee potential issues that may arise during the study tour. Participants of the study tour reported overwhelmingly positive feedback about their experience. The professionalism of the CISaustralia team made them a pleasure to work with. CISaustralia is an endorsed third party provider for the UOW Office of Global Student Mobility and offers a variety of international short course experiences for UOW students.

I enjoyed my experience and would recommend it to anyone interested in African culture and community work. [The best part was] meeting the women and gaining insight into their lives and being able to assist them in gaining skills with job applications. Go in with an open heart and mind, listen and you will learn much. Life is worth exploring.

Women’s Empowerment in Zambia

Just do it. Its a great experience, you’ll meet a heap of cool people, get to experience living in another country and learn a bunch too. Just say yes, and figure out all the details as you go. I like to just wing things, and that’s how I approached this trip and it was amazing. Working in a corporate environment and learning hands-on what goes on in a business, paired with the fact that I was in a new country made it all a really incredible learning experience.

Intern in Ireland

Do it! You’ll have an amazing experience and get real world experience and business tours that you won’t get anywhere else. Loved everything!! Thank you so much! 🙂

Industry Immersion Program – New York City, USA

[The best part was] meeting new people who live across the world, [and] travelling overseas by myself was a life changing experience. The projects were very rewarding. Embrace every moment and every person there, everyone has their own story which is very interesting. Time goes fast so live it up. Embrace the country side and the people, AMAZING!

Rural Healthcare and Education in South Africa

Do it! It’s a fantastic experience and you will not regret it. It’s long enough to learn so much and completely submerge yourself in a new culture, but short enough that you can feel like you won’t get too homesick. It’s a complete learning experience – from educational to personal to cultural – and you can very easily adapt it to take whatever you want out of it. It really is the experience of a lifetime.
