Whether it’s teaching and community development, environmental conservation, learning a language or seeking adventure, our diverse programs cater to a range of interests and passions. Teaching and Community Development in Cambodia
Experience the vibrant culture and history of Cambodia while making a difference in local communities. Our Teaching and Community Development program focuses on supporting impoverished families and improving educational access in rural areas. Volunteers engage with the school children to support their classroom and schoolyard activities, in addition to participating in a community development project provided to the local school community. Teaching and Community Development in Fiji
Students can immerse themselves in the rich cultural tapestry of Fiji while contributing to meaningful community development projects. Set in Sote Village, this 2,3 or 4-week program allows students to engage in activities ranging from teaching at a local school to assisting with infrastructure and community projects. Spend part of the summer break in Tokyo with our 2-week program focused on Japanese Language or Anime and Popular Culture. This program provides students with the chance to learn and explore Tokyo’s dynamic cityscape while engaging with local university students. Highlights include cultural immersion activities such as a tea ceremony, visits to iconic sites, and an optional ski trip. Expand your winter break by immersing yourself in a dynamic study program in Tokyo, where you can choose to stay for 2, 4, or 6 weeks. Students can choose from courses in Japanese language, business, culture, arts, or social sciences at J. F. Oberlin University. This program not only provides a robust academic experience but also allows you to delve into Japan’s rich cultural heritage through various hands-on activities and excursions.
